Consumers who buy online generally have a right to cancel within 14 days. For digital content and services there are special rules, which is why we explain how they apply.
What usually happens
- When you buy, we ask you to confirm that you want access to start immediately and acknowledge the effect that has on your right to cancel.
- If you have not started using the paid service, you can normally cancel within the 14 days and receive a refund.
- If access has started at your request, the amount refunded may be reduced to reflect what you have already used, or you may lose the right to a refund for digital content you have started to use. The precise outcome depends on what you bought and how you used it.
Your statutory rights are not affected
Nothing in this article limits your rights if a product is faulty, not as described or not delivered with reasonable care and skill. Our Refund Policy gives the full terms.
How to ask
Open Refunds and choose the order. Describe what happened. A member of the team reviews it and writes back with a decision and the reasons. See How refunds work.
